PCS members converged on Alliance, Ohio to
participate in a meet sponsored by the Tri-State and Ohio
Chapters, held in conjunction with the area's Carnation
festival.

The event got off to a rough start when
tornadoes threatened the area Thursday afternoon. Members
and their cars sought refuge in the Sharer Stirling
Skivolocke Funeral Home's massive garage.
After the threatening weather passed
firefighters asked Dan Skivolocke to use his car to help
block the roadway littered with downed power lines.
Despite continuing rainy weather many
attendees drove their cars in procession for various tours
the following days.
One of the tours included a visit to Smith
Ambulance's facilities where members viewed their impressive
collection of vintage ambulances, emergency medical
equipment, and funeral memorabilia.

For one of the tour's highlights members were
allowed to run with lights and sirens in procession to one
of the locations.
