The PCS is an international organization founded in 1976 and dedicated to the maintenance, restoration, and preservation of professional cars. The Ohio Chapter of the P.C.S. is comprised of professional car owners and enthusiasts throughout the state who are members of the Professional Car Society.

A professional car is defined by the society as a custom bodied vehicle, based on passenger car styling, used in the funeral, rescue or livery services. Examples of these vehicles are hearses, flower cars, service cars, ambulances, and limousines.
